This facility enables the identification and analysis of all proteins in complex mixtures and has capabilities to also profile carbohydrates, lipids and oligosaccharides. The 4 major systems in the facility include a bench-top LC-MS/MS integrated with a UHPLC system, a high-sensitivity hybrid system that permits detection of low abundance proteins, a high-thruput MALDI-TOF/TOF system and a linear ion-trap mass spectrometer integrated with microAS.
