The CSIR-Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology (CCMB) of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is interested to associate with CSIR-CCMB who have exceptional track records in their fields of research. We are currently looking for candidates with proven experience in the following fields.

• Computational Biology
• Biology of Infectious Diseases
• Plant Biology
• Ecology and Evolution
• Structural Biology with a focus on Cryogenic Electron Microscopy

Our faculty search is not limited to only these areas. Candidates who would have the all-around ability to establish and sustain a strong and high-quality scientific program in other areas and who would also contribute to the scientific and intellectual environment at the institution in various ways are also encouraged to contact us.

Your application should contain your CV with date of birth (with names of 6-8 referees), a brief (1-2 page) account of your research and its significance, and a statement of your future plans bringing out the issues that your research would aim to address (2-4 pages).

Please note that sponsorship for various fellowship programs, including DBT-Ramalingaswami, DSTRamanujan, DST-Inspire, DBT-India Alliance, etc. will be possible only after successful interaction with the Faculty Search Committee.
